The Cowboy

Bruce Lee Webb has added one more etching to his recent publications at Flatbed. The newest etching which is titled Cowboy features Webb's signature smiling cowboy which may or may not stand in as a kind of self-portrait. Webb, who is the co-owner and co- creator of Webb Gallery in downtown Waxahachie, Texas, recently created the Texas Road Hog series of etchings at Flatbed Press. While creating those large works, he turned his head toward a smaller format. He drew and etched the smiling figure onto a copper plate that was printed over the photo-etched collage of pharmacy ledger receipts circa 1912. We are pleased to present Cowboy and wish him a good ride out into the art frontier. It is now available through Flatbed Press and Gallery. See how to add him to your collection here: Cowboy. Happy Trails!
