Announcing the new editions of Starwood 1, Starwood 2, Starwood 3 and Starwood 4 by Ann Conner. Conner traveled to Austin to sign the four woodcut editons that make up her Starwood Suite on April 14. The Starwood Suite tracks the visual narrative of LA to Old Hollywood's Walk of Fame. Columns of stars, “choo-choo" train, baby dinosaur shapes are arranged up and down the wood grain. Colors reflects the glam of Hollywood Boulevard, animated films, and also the hues of Sunset Strip. The suite was printed in editions of ten onto Japan Shiramine paper. Flatbed is proud to represent the suite and plans on exhibiting the complete suite at the Austin's Art City art fair April 28 through May 1.
