DAN RIZZIE

Dan Rizzie is a painter who lives and works in Sag Harbor, New York. His colorful and bold abstractions from nature are collected by the Metropolitan Art Museum in New York City, the Dallas Museum of Art, the San Antonio Museum of Art, the New York Public Library, and numerous corporate and private collections. The monotypes Rizzie created at Flatbed--one of which is 8 ft.. x 4 ft.--accentuate the artist's penchant for strong, graphic forms, as well as his sense of texture and sfumato.
