PEAT DUGGINS

Peat Duggins is a multi-media artist living in Boston. In addition to producing drawings, sculpture and videos under his own name, he works with several collaborative groups, including the artist-collective, Okay Mountain, and the director's group, Okay Video. Duggins’ eccentric and thoughtful works range from mimetic drawings to paintings to constructions to tapestries, employing a wide panoply of materials and processes. While the artist depicts objective subjects in his creations, he suggests complex, intellectual content that is in line with conceptual art, and frequently explores themes related to humankind’s relationships to nature.
