In this intensive workshop designed for beginners, Alfonso Huerta will demonstrate the fundamentals of designing a linocut, transferring your image to the linoleum block, carving techniques, and how to print your linocut on manual printing presses. The first day is devoted to the carving of your image, and the following day explores print processes and variations. You will leave with a small suite of your prints and your relief that you can continue to print at home!

As always, all experience levels are welcome!

This class comes with a free "Open Studio" session so that you can continue to print your block on your own!
