Learn chiaroscuro lithography with Flatbed's master printer Josh Orsburn. Chiaroscuro is an Italian term meaning 'light-dark'. In printmaking, this is a way to print two values, a dark and a mid-tone, to suggest the volume and modeling of the subjects depicted. Orsburn takes this to another level by teaching how to combine a drawing done on a lithographic stone with the tones that created on a photo-litho plate. This is a Master Class which will both challenge and delight you with the results.

Experience level: No previous experience needed for this class. It is recommended for seasoned artists who love process and drawing.
