'Common Language, Puctuating the Landscape' drew its first breath August 1, 2009. Duzi Davidoff and Rachelle Thiewes began a residency that lasted through September in the small Fiskars Village of Finland.  This book project accompanied their traveling exhibition "Common Language."  Davidoff and Thiewes documented the site specific installations inspired by and created in the landscape surrounding Fiskers Village. Their photographs were printed on large scale aluminum panels that were a part of the exhibition, and those images and details of the installations are included in this book.
