*If you have not taken a Master Class at Flatbed there will be an hour long orientation with a $50 fee before being able to attend open studio. Please email info@flatbedpress.com to schedule. Please include any printmaking experience you have.*

MONDAY evenings, 6pm-9pm

TUESDAY evenings, 5pm-8pm

THURSDAY afternoons, 1pm-4pm

FRIDAY evenings, 5:30pm-8:30pm

SATURDAY afternoons (when master classes are not scheduled), 1pm-4pm  

$35 for one session 

$25 for student one session (with coupon code)

Tuition: $150 for six sessions

Dig out, dust off, and rediscover an old etching plate or woodblock and bring it to this all-levels open studio to discover the hidden potential it has to be printed in a creative way, or just bring it and make those Artist Proof impressions you always wanted to make!  Our Community Shop open studios are meant to both foster the printmaking community and provide a place for printmakers to use the press’ facilities throughout the week. Current participants in other Flatbed master classes are also welcome to come for some independent time. Flatbed will have a trained printer in the shop to assist you in setting press pressures or making suggestions. However, attendees need to have had enough experience to work independently to achieve the best print possible. 

Participants need to bring their own paper, plates and color inks. Black ink, tarletan, and blankets are provided.
