Gold Leaf has a rich history in painting and sculpture, but did you know that it could be applied to your prints as well? This course is designed to teach you how to utilize printing ink to stick your gold leaf to your art without the means of glue. In this course we will be showing you how to draw onto a transparency and create a Lithographic photo-plate which will then be printed with sticky ink that’ll glue your imitation gold leaf down to your works on paper. The best part about this technique is that once you get the hang of it it’ll be completely editionable for those of you more advanced printmakers looking to add a little shine to your works on paper.
