Participants will learn the fundamentals of designing a woodcut, transferring your image to the wood block, carving techniques, and how to print your woodcut on our manual printing presses. Along the way, you'll experiment with different printing approaches and gain a deeper understanding of the creative possibilities of the medium.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have a collection of your own original woodcut prints, your carved block to continue printing from at home, and the skills to keep exploring relief printmaking. Enrollment also includes one complimentary Open Studio session, giving you the opportunity to return and make more prints using the studio presses.

Artists of all experience levels are encouraged to join.
