During this week long intensive workshop, our Master Printer Joshua Orsburn will be guiding you through the etching process. Etching is an intaglio printmaking process where an artist uses acid to "bite" marks into a metal plate to create an image. There will be an exploration of illustrative and painterly marks making. By the end of the week, you'll have a grasp on numerous techniques that can be used to develop a print that you can be proud of and is reminiscent of your personal practice.
This class is offered to all levels of experience.
