Using an experimental aquatint process to create the copper plate for the etching series, Deep, Joan Winter references waterfall images and cloud drawings. The series of variations were developed with several unique ink colors, investigating the subtle shifts in color caused by sunlight conditions at different times of day. This variation was printed in an edition of four.
